Your CV · step 1
What field are you applying in?
Each field has its own template. You can change it later without losing what you wrote.
How it works
Choose. Fill in. Review. Send.
Choose your field
Thirteen fields, from restaurants to tech. Each has its own order of sections and the skills employers usually ask for.
Fill it in, in your own words
The AI improves the wording and suggests skills. The suggestion appears alongside and you decide what goes in.
Review
Your CV builds itself as you type (on a phone, under "View CV"). Try the three designs and read it through once.
Send
Download the PDF, with real text, and send it yourself: by email, on WhatsApp, through a job site, or printed.
Privacy
What you write does not leave your device.
There are no accounts and no database of CVs, letters or salaries. It was the first decision, before the AI and before the design, and it applies to every tool.
Read the privacy policyThe PDF is made on your device
Neither the file nor what is in it goes through our servers.
The AI never sees your name
When you ask for help, only the text it needs is sent, never your name or contact details.
Calculations happen in your browser
The take-home pay and end-of-contract tools send nothing: your salary and contract dates stay with you.
Close the tab and it is gone
To continue another day, you save a file on your phone or computer.
Questions
Before you start
Is it really free?
Yes. Writing your CV and downloading the PDF in the language you write it in is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. There are two optional paid extras that put the AI to work on your whole CV: translating it into Portuguese, French, Spanish or German (€2.99) and tailoring it to a specific job ad (€1.99). You pay once, with no account and no subscription. CVManda is made by FFtechnologies, a software company in Portugal.
Should I send my CV in Portuguese or in English?
Follow the job ad. If the ad is in English, or the company works in English (many tech companies and contact centres in Portugal do), an English CV is fine. If the ad is in Portuguese, a CV in Portuguese shows respect for the employer and gets read more easily. You can write your CV here in English for free and, if you need it, get the Portuguese version for €2.99.
How good is the Portuguese translation?
The AI translates into European Portuguese (not Brazilian), using the terms recruiters in Portugal know. Your name, contacts and the names of companies and schools are not sent to the AI and stay as they are. Read it once before sending it, or ask a Portuguese speaker to: a translation, even a good one, can pick a word you would not have picked. You can translate again up to 3 times in 48 hours if you change something.
Do you store my CV?
No. What you write stays in your browser and the PDF is made on your device. When you close the tab, it is gone. If you use the AI help, only the text of that field is sent to get the suggestion, and it is not stored either.
Can the AI invent experience I do not have?
It is instructed to only rework what you wrote, without adding facts. And the suggestion appears alongside: it only goes into your CV if you press "Use this version". Always read it before accepting.
Which design should I choose?
We suggest one based on your field. Classic, in one column, is the safest for the applicant tracking systems companies use. Modern has a side column. Compact fits a lot on one page. You can change it at any time.
Do I need a photo, my date of birth or my nationality?
No. In Portugal none of them is required on a CV. You can add a photo if you want, for free: it is cropped on your device and never sent to the AI or to us. If you have the right to work in Portugal (EU citizenship or a residence permit), it is worth saying so under "Additional information".
What else is there besides the CV?
A cover letter written by the AI from the job ad, in English or in Portuguese; a net salary calculator with the 2026 Portuguese IRS tables; and an end-of-contract simulator that follows the Portuguese Labour Code. All free, with no sign-up, and all in English.
Can I continue another day?
Yes. In the CV panel, "Save draft to device" creates a file on your phone or computer. Next time, open it on this page and carry on where you left off.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, it was designed for phones first. If you opened the link inside Instagram or Facebook, open it in Safari or Chrome so you can download the PDF.
Started another day and saved your draft?
The file is read here in your browser. It is not sent anywhere.
