Before you start

Do I really need a cover letter in Portugal?

Many applications in Portugal still ask for one, or value it when it comes. It is where you explain why that job interests you and what you bring to it, which a CV, being a list, does not say.

Should my letter be in English or in Portuguese?

Use the language of the job ad. If the ad is in Portuguese, the employer expects a letter in Portuguese, and the AI writes it in European Portuguese, with the subject line, greeting and sign-off used in Portugal. If the ad is in English, choose English. Both are free, and you can write your notes in either language.

Will the AI invent experience I do not have?

It should not, and it is the first rule we give it: it can only use what you wrote under "What you want to highlight". It connects that to what the ad asks for, without adding years, companies, courses or numbers. Even so, read the letter before you send it and fix anything that is not true.

What happens to what I write?

The ad and what you want to highlight go to the AI only to write the letter, and are not stored. Your name, contact details and town never leave your browser: they are added to the letter right here. The PDF is made on your device too.

How much does it cost?
